A French delegation of green and socialist parliamentarians visited the Middle East for three days with MedBridge. It was a unique opportunity for the group to deepen its understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The parliamentarians met with Israeli and Palestinian representatives of Civil Society such as Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and signatories of the Geneva Initiative Yossi Beilin and Yasser Abed Rabbo. Palestinian Professor Sari Nusseibeh and General Ami Ayalon, also presented their Peace Initiative to the delegation.

Jean Marie Bockel, current Minister of State attached to the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, in charge for Cooperation and Francophony, participated in the trip.
