MedBridge est une association loi 1901 à but non-lucratif, basée en France.
Elle a été créée en 2003 par cinq leaders politiques européens :
- Willy de Clercq : ancien vice-Premier ministre belge et ancien commissaire européen ;
- François Léotard : ancien ministre de la Défense et ancien ministre de la Culture et de la Communication français ;
- Ana Palacio : ancien ministre des Affaires étrangères espagnol et ancien parlementaire européen ;
- Marco Pannella : ancien président du parti radical italien et ancien député européen ;
- Francois Zimeray : ambassadeur français des Droits de l’homme et ancien parlementaire européen.
MedBridge est actuellement dirigé par Ari Sebag qui en est son président.
About us
MedBridge is a non-profit organization based in France.
It was created in 2003 by 5 European political leaders:
- Willy de Clercq: former Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium and former member of the European Commission;
- François Léotard: former French Minister of Defense and former Minister of Culture and Communication;
- Ana Palacio: former Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and former member of the European Parliament;
- Marco Pannella: Former Chairman of the Italian Radical Party and former member of the European Parliament; and
- Francois Zimeray: current Ambassador of France for Human Rights and former member of the European Parliament.
In 7 years MedBridge has created an important network of politicians and decision makers willing to strengthen the links between Europe and the Middle East.
MedBridge is currently headed by Ari Sebag.
